Description
Mutant T7 RNA+DNA polymerase is a recombinant form of T7 RNA polymerase with a single Y639F mutation that enables T7 RNA+DNA polymerase to incorporate 2´-deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs) into full-length transcripts more efficiently1. The enzyme retains the same catalytic activity for incorporation of canonical NTPs and the same promoter specificity as wild-type T7 RNA polymerase. This mutant can incorporate a vareity of 2´-modified-dNTPs such as 2´-fluorine or 2´-amino groups and enables efficient in vitro synthesis of modified RNA aptamers can use both single and double stranded templates.
